The Sierra bra by Madalynne (free pattern)

Wow. I think I'm addicted to bra making. This here is my first one! When Madalynne first posted the free pattern to this bra I was intrigued, but didn't go for it until the walkthrough was posted. Once I start to see progress photos I get too inspired to not sew. It also helped that Madalynne provided a link to a kit for the findings. I bought the purple lace from the Tailor Made Shop, and the power mesh from Stylish Fabric. Both are very soft which I am very pleased with. My lace was a little smaller than the recommended, but I actually like the way it looks. The bra doesn't pull like it does in the photos...I should have adjusted it!

If you are looking for something new to make I do recommend this pattern. It's free & there is a walkthrough available so why not? This project sewed up very quickly, took me less than half the day. Now I just need to pick another bra to sew!
