A couple weeks ago I made up another Hagen Skirt! I grabbed this fabric from Joanns. At first I wasn't sure what I was going to make with this plaid fabric. I initially had something longer in mind but then decided a skirt of that length would be too busy for my taste.
Last time I made this skirt I omitted the pocket (wow how long my hair was!!) but I'm glad I left it this time. It is perfect iPhone 7 size so that is pretty convenient! This project is rather simple, I would say the most difficult part is attaching a lining to the zipper, which if you don't know how to do YouTube is a great resource! I also left out all the facings because I'm a rebel and just attached the lining to the fashion fabric and flipped it to finish the top edge.

I was a little worried about putting off such school girl vibes that I decided to pair with a sweater & boots. So I guess I will avoid collared shirts and loafers with this skirt!
Looking adorable in this girly combo!

thank u~
DeleteI think the winged eyeliner you've done makes it look a bit too cool to be schoolgirl! I tried on a skirt the other day in this Australian store, Sportsgirl, that was quite like this and you've made me think I need to recreate it! Love the styling!
